About us:

Each item in our store is handmade from salvaged retired climbing rope. When climbing rope reaches the end of its lifecycle, it is unsafe to use and is typically disposed of via incineration. Craggu and other various small businesses take these retired climbing ropes and bring new life into them by making sustainable products. 

Where the rope came from:

The rope was donated by our friend New Jeans Joe Woo, a fellow rock & ice climber, alpinst, skier, dancer & overall rad dude. You can hear his "woos!" as he rips down the mountainsides & takes practice whips at the climbing gym. The orange color shines brighter in person & pictures don't do it justice.

Spot cleaning & hang drying recommended. DO NOT machine wash. DO NOT machine dry.
